A terrible phenomenon

On my last valentine’s day, the weather was very good, the birds were flying happily in the pale blue sky. I was waiting to give my girlfriend a bouquet sentimentally at the restaurant. Suddenly, an unexpected nightmare began to happen. The romantic day of my life, that was about to come, turned into dust because of the damn disaster, Tornado. Therefore, I decided to write about the causes of tornadoes and some facts of this destructive storm.
Firstly, what is a tornado? A tornado is a violent storm using wind accompanied by dark funnel-shaped cloud that forms over land during thunderstorm. Also, tornadoes are caused by the warm, moist air rushes upward, meeting cooler and drier air. Moreover, tornadoes cannot be predicted well because they form very quickly and there is little warning or none. So it is not easy for people to evacuate once this storm has formed and you cannot outrun tornadoes, the wind speed can reach up to 480 kilometers per hour and they can last for an hour. Tornadoes can overturn automobile and mobile homes, uproot trees and devastate entire neighborhood. They are extremely dangerous.
To sum up, people find it hard to evacuate from tornadoes because it cannot be predicted well beforehand as hurricane. What is more, I would like to give some tips for people to avoid being killed by tornadoes. First of all, do keep up with the weather forecast news. Once a tornado warning is issued, be sure to move quickly to pre-designated shelter, such as basement, If an under shelter is not available, move to an interior room or hallway on the lowest floor and get under a study piece of furniture. Furthermore, stay away from windows and get out of automobiles immediately. Finally, do not try to outrun a tornado in your car, instead, leave it as quick as you can or you will be turned into pieces.
