To deal with this troubl, I think we have to get ourselves used to reading, I mean we have to make our own habit to read. And to make up our habit is not really difficult think to do. While reading one psychological book, it say that, if ones can do something consistantly over 23 days, he will get used to doing that. Reaing is the same!

I tell you the truth, I am another one who have consistantly encountered this matter.I have three ways to deal with this general problem. 1, I read and listen to the song contemporaneously 2, I go and have bath 3, Go out anywhere for a while or talk to any one near us a minute then turn to our reading.
That's all for me.
I don know which one you choose to practice, but for me I use the three.
Kimlong PS: How was you New Year, guys?

When you read you should think about what you are reading. you try to ask yourself what book talk about, and try to relax when you read. i think you know about strategy how to read. i always practice follow those strategy, and i think about what i read.

Hi there.. Interesting ideas from all of you.. .. but what i'm saying here is that you should have a purpose before doing your reading. I think you should tell yourself what you wanna have after finish the reading. When you have the purpose, you'll keep up with the article for sure. However, if you just wanna read for fun, you should find the topic(s) that interests you--if you're into movie stars, find artcle(s) about them. I read a lot when i'm interested in one thing.. .. and it helps me collecting many good articles too.. Hope my tiny idea helps you too.. Chakriya

hi guyz.. lazy of reading? wel.... dat dat pro. dat i had to face wit few yrz ago. however.. lately.. after make myself be accustomed to reading.. i found lazy no more. at first, wheneva i hold anybook, my eyes'd be very soft.. kinda really wanna give it a rest or sometimes. jst read for bout 2 r 3pages.. would got a terrible headache. so how can i get over dose ?hmm.. it seems to me dat the best way to get rid of dose is dat.. give da book and yr self an intention.. lik what you are reading it for? and wat will u get bck in return after reading it? also... putting yr visualization while you are reading.. then the text would luk more realistic to u.. jst lik you are watching a movie or any programe.. in dis way.. the more you read.. the deeper interest you would got.. den.. u no longer feel dat kind of lazynezz. both read for pleasure or read for education.. the key is jst to put yr interest into it.. giv the text u r reading a visualization.. imagination.. by doing dis .. the book would seem so REAL to you.. meanwhile you cld find dat u can understand the text easier.. dese jst wat suddenly came up to my mind.. hope you cld get its real meaning.. senny ")

take some caffeine tea, or coffee, but not too much or you will blame me for you cannot sleep at night!
well the most important is to be interested in your reading! many of us won't fall asleep with interesting movies, so does reading!
be active while reading, using SQ3R strategies whenever you read anything. survey, question, read , recite, review. more on that later.. see you.
