Arranged Marriage is well-known and WELL-PRACTICED in Cambodia. Arranged Marriage implies some kind of forceful approach. But this has been traditions to some Asian countries, as well as others.

What do you think?

It has its good side and bad side.

The good side, of course, is that parent never wants their child to be in danger, improsperous life, unhappy and poor status. So, they will try to find someone whom they believe that able to afford their children.

The bad side is, somehow, is that parent always force their children to marry someone against their will (but if their spouses is good-looking, I also can
t help). This is against human rights.

Have your say...

Let me be the first to respond your topic Denith!

To my point of view, never or no way will I accept such thing, arranged marriage. You know Y?

We are born in this life, we are unable to know whether we can appear on this beautiful earth the next life, like Buddha saying or not. So, what we have to do is to live in this sightable life with happiness and joyfulness.

I mean what I hate, I must refuse; what I love, I must try to get it!!

What other guys think?

Coming from a society that doesn't do arranged marriages, it is hard for me to imagine marrying someone chosen by my parents. Wink

I'm not a marrying type.  Cheesy I can hardly imagine my parents arranging a marriage for me without my permission/acceptance.  Grin

To me , I think that they are balacing to each other cos we are the human being we have choice to choose but while we decide to do one thing we need to relize the result and accept it . If it time for me
to  make a decision first it must be my own choice and then it also approved by my parents... ! !!
How do you think? Huh Huh

But its hard to fight against TRADITION. Tradition is overshadowed, and only absolute person can defy it.
