You sound enthusiastic about blogging yourself. So here you go:

These websites provide you an access to making a blog yourself. Don't be off two minds about these. Just choose one of these or any of them you like. It's not hard to make one blog. You just have to follow the instructions or requirements. And you'll make it. 

From my point of view, wordpress blog is good if you host it with your own domain name (to get the domain name will cost you something.) but to host with wordpress which is free but the storage is very small (50MB). WordPress is restricted with some script that will not enable you to add.

But blogger is worth in some point with larger storage (1GB) with unlimited bandwidth. You can easily add the external script to blogger host on blogspot. Completely free. There are more themes to choose & update to blogger blog which wordpress allow only its themes on wordpress domain (but owned domain is not restricted.)

I use both of them for different purposes. I use wordpress to host on my own domain & blogger for my blog. It's fun. They both are HOT.
