Hi Paul,

I have read a friend posting that capitalized words in E-mail means that shouting the words. Is it true?

Using capitalised words is known as shouting and should be avoided.  If you need to emphasise something, you could use italics, which are less intrusive, but generally, you should let your reader decide what is important.  I would advise against capitalising words- I never do it, and I avoid the exclamation mark too.  Many consider shouting to be rude, so it can create a negative impression.  Cheesy
