Hi R,

I do think the same to you. Because, I like cartoon too. It's fun to watch, isn't it?

But for effective listening, you don't suppose to listen only to cartoon, but for many more. As in cartoon there is no words that are in politices, law, ...

Have fun with cartoon, it's my favorite too.

Hi Rachada,

It isn't bad at all if you do one thing without missing to do other things that you should do or plan to do.  Grin I mean, you can watch cartoons if it does you good like improving your listening as well as vocabulary. I prefer cartoons which consist of English subtitles at the bottom. Well, Rachada, your friends and you have different ideas about it, as we always do. And what works for you may not work for the others.  Grin

I very much like barbies. HOw about you?  Cheesy

Lol Rachada, you got to specify at what age the audience is!

For me, cartoon or animation is okay to everyone, because now animation is more advanced, educated and open. Everyone at every level of age are welcomed to watch animation.

That means I am a kid too then!

Because I like watching cartoons, so much. But don't have a lot of time watching every night like you. However, it is my favorite one.

Hi kids, Grin

Sometimes cartoon does not really work for improving listening, because there's only video and music like Tom and Jerry, you rarely find any conversation existed. But guess what, it's the one I like the best!

I wonder why most kids love cartoons?

Hi again,

Hi there guys well Matt i think you rite some of the cartoon don't have any coversation so might be useless if we talk about improving listening. I agree with your idea.

Yes, such cartoons like Tom and Jerry are designed for really small kids like you Matt.  Cheesy (kidding). There is only music and the very strong animation of the characters like Tom and Jerry and this is, I think, particularly made for small kids who haven't developed their own language seriously.

Why do most kids love cartoons? It's a question everybody should ask themselves at first. Then we'll be able to find the answer. Grin As for me, I like the cartoons like Barbies, Cinderella, Beauty and the beast and a lot more made by Walt Disney. The animation of characters is beautiful with very colorful and artful skills.  Roll Eyes What's so subtle about the reason why most kids do is cartoons are a special thing that any anybody can understand Grin whether the viewers are kids or non-kids.  Grin They are for fun, really.  Cheesy

Hey there,

Walt Disney? It makes me think of Disney Land, an awake dreaming amusement park. Grin It's such a great place to visit. Anybody here experienced going there?
