Hi Everybody.

Finding jobs in Cambodia is not the easy way. I just know that lot of Graduated students from University could not find the Jobs. They do not have Jobs to do. So they sometimes make something bad for our society. It is my most concerns.

This problem is the main topic that students should think about it. What Do everybody think about it?

Why do you think so Chesda? You mean that Cambodian graduated students are jobless after finishing university.

For me, I think that if we are qualified we will get a better job. Do you think so? Yeah, but some graduated students are working in different fields from their majors.

So you should study hard! Cool

Thank you for discussing about this issue.

I don't mean that all graduated students are jobless, but some students that graduated from some private schools are out of work.

We have to challenge in the Competition of  job's Market in Cambodia. I know that we have to try to study hard, but because of corruption, I still worry about jobs after I graduate.

Because of this problems, some students try to study two or three universities. What do you think about it?

Maybe corruption is  one part of this, but do not say it unless we have evidences
Let talk about the quality of education
In general, before dratuate college, all student have to do training and extrance exam( for English..e.g)
Do they have enough knowledge to fit  up with their train. If they do well, they would be encouraged and motivated to be a staff directly. Not gone to change!

But if not, this is the matter

Why don't they have job?
They can't afford what the firm needs, so they fail

I agree with you that what we, a student being, should do now is try best to study and what is else,do not thing about any corruption activity. we can't help solve

Unemployedment is one of the major social problems around the world. The crux is if the degree of the unemployedment is low or high. Of course, there are graduates who can't find jobs to do. However, it would require each of you to look into the situations for certain. Why can't those graduates get a job to do? Is it because of corruption all the time? What does a job take and what do you have to prepare for a good job? The questions also turn to the education system of the country. There's no doubt that people look at it and say it's quite corrupt. So we have a circle of 3 factors: "corruption" -> faulty education system -> unemployment. "Unemployedment" -> corruption -> faulty education system -> unemployedment.....

I am not proposing a solution to this thread of current problems after all. However, I'd like to suggest everyone to prepare oneself for a job. Ponder what a good job takes and develop yourself for the better. If each of us wants to change it, we have to be aware of the fact that everything starts from 'me'. Am I a corrupt person? "NO". Am I unemployed? "No, I've got a small job to do, at least, to survive on my own." Is my education I'm receiving not enough? "Yes, it's enough...what's not enough is my efforts I put into learning."

Every Cambodian and I must get out of the "so-called" chains.  Smiley
