Hi Lovely friends! I need your help urgently. I want to know some verbs that use in Gerund and Infinitive and how to recognise in each case.

Gerund is "verb+ing".
Infinitive is "to verb".

Ex. Going, doing, eating, driving are Gerunds.
To go, to do, to eat, to drive are Infinitives.

You refer to verb pattern, Sophy? I mean the verb after it follow by ing or infinitive form.Like:

Ex: I enjoy playing football.
Ex: He refuses to give me money.

Or what you want?

You should read grammar books, so will know which verb goes with a gerund or which verb go with an infinitive.
