but most people if not all going to play card bet moneys during khmer new year, do you think it's good for us, Cambodian?

Yes, playing card, in general, is a gambling. However, it depends on the players and the game, as well as the rules and its aspect.

In such occasion i.e. Khmer New Year or Water Festival, when relatives gather, they will want to have fun and enjoy their moment together. I think people will play some games, apart from traditional game... maybe move to card games, or board games or lotto...

I say, this depends on the player the most... coz players are human and human has desire. If they only want to "enjoy" the day, then its okay... let them play card. But if what they want is "money"... then as elders, they must warned them about the dangers.

I don't like playing card at all. But it's ok for people who play it just for fun and not bet for big money.
But do you think it's a boring thing as most people think it's a popular gambling?
I have a new way to play with this card and we don't need money but, water instead.  hahaha Because we gonna have sore throat by shouting and laughing out of full strenght.

Gotta tell you I know nothing with video game. And, I can know you are a video game freak.

Well, Rachada, it’s an easy game. You need at least 6 or 8 or 10 people to play. More people more fun. Before you play, you need to change all your guy’s names alternately. For example, I change from my name to your name (Panharath to be Rachada) and you can change to my name or other friend’s name and so does everyone. But gotta change to the name of someone who are only in group playing. And you gotta remember everyone changed-name. Suffle the card and start to open one by one and place it in front of each of you. Be conscious when the card opened. Because when you see 1 of your friend have the same “ Tek (Same Diamond or Heart...) ” like you, you both gotta try to call out both of your’s changed-name. If you can call your friend’s changed-name before he/she does, you win and throw all the cards which is already opened to him/her place and go on with opening the excess cards untill you can find the last person who got the rest of the cards and he’s the real LOSER.

Hehe Try it out! It’s really a fun stuff. Believe me! you will like it. But If you don’t understand what I explained above, contact with me. hehe
But do not play in public area, because we will make lousy noise which can catch people‘s eyes.

Water or Coke, it depend what you like. But you gotta get ready with a lot of drink, otherwise you won’t be able to speak for a week. Lolz
