Hi Likeav,

A biggest and warmest welcome to the site.
Your question is a bit funny to me because in the progress test I did well and when it came to final test I also did as I expected. Personally, I think maybe your final test was more difficult and you didn't have any chance to gain any help from your friends or those sitting next to you. Moreover, accidents will happen! So who knows what will come next? Possibly next time you'll get high score in your final test.

Just my thought.

Hey thanks for you reply Jupiter,
Hmmm, I know that my problem is a little funny, but it's really make me unhappy when I always failed my reading in final test! And I'm sure that I never ask my friends when I had a test, also progress test!
Yeah, you're right! Because the final test is difficult than progress test, that's why I can't do it well. So can you give me some advices to improve my reading skill?
Hope to see from you soon,

Hi all!

I have read your messages, and you have problem with reading skill. Honestly, I also have such problem. Anyway, I have some ideas to share with you. First, you should try to read a lot when you have free time. Reading a lot makes you know much about general knowlegde. In edition, learn more new vocabulary because it is very easy if you know a lot of words, so you can understand the text very well. Next, you should learn some tips in reading like scanning, skimming, understanding main idea and so on. Finally, You must know about your weakness in reading. That is all for me and I hope these can help you to improve your reading skill.
Wish you good luck with final exam.

Maybe, and sorry for what i will say, you were too confident in yourself that you overlooked your mistakes while you were doing your final test. I mean, you knew yourself that you had done well in the progress test, you felt too happy about it and when it came to Final test, you did it without re-check for mistakes.

Hi Likeav & luckymoon,

As i read the post i saw two of you guys found struggling with reading skill, right? Well, there is a way to get out of this. But it is depend whether you are willing to take it into account or not.

Reading is not the difficult thing to learn. You can just grasp some text book or anything that you like and read it out laud. I guarantee, it takes you only 3 months or less to bring you the success. Spend just little time a day to do so. Reading out laud, remembered.

You will surely surprised with this unexpected results.

Hi Loren.
How are you? Thanks so much for your ideas. Yes, It is the good idea. Hmm.........as I have learnt, my lecturers never encourage me to read out laod because it can make me get nothing from the text. We just read in mind only. Anyway, Thanks once again and hope to hear from you next time.
Have a great holiday! Wink
