Hi Veng Im,

What's meant by "a good speaker" you asked? A good speaker of English? or what? 

Well, let's talk about a good speaker a bit.

Personally, I think a good speaker can clearly state his ideas to his audience. A good speaker can make a change in the audience's thinking.

So, how to be a good speaker? You need to practice. Find a good speaker as a sample for yourself to follow.

Whereas, to be a good speaker of English, you are supposed to speak English fluently, with smooth procedures of delivering your messages in English(the flow of ideas). You need to learn from your mistakes when you practice.  Other included factors are good use of vocabulary, grammar and structures; pronunication (stress, tone, intonation); and no breakdown of ideas.

What do you think? 
P.S. I'm sure you also have ideas about this.

  Well sometimes it comes from the natural being of one's. But you can improve it by the way.
  Being a good speaker could be mean that you can win other peoples' hearts. 

  Being a good speaker in English it's just like Somala said. Must be good and fluently in English.

Well, i don't have alot more to say cos somala and nicole have said already ; but i just want to tell you that a good speaker doesn't mean you must always be grammartically correct. So pls don't worry too much when you speak. If you can make your listeners understand what you want them to understand, then you are a good speaker! What is the use of say a very good and grammartically correct sentence while your listener understand nothing about it? Anothing is that don't try to show off your ability to use a sophisticated word(I may do it myself here ) Ok, however, if you are doing the speaking test, pls make everything is correct cos your fluency in grammar and vocabulary is concerned here.

If you want to be a fantastic speaker is not really easy thing to do.

To my point of view, a good speaker is good at 4 skills, listening, reading, social impression, and speaking itself. I think you maybe wonder why the reading, listening, social impression relate to the good speaker, ain't you?

Yep, nothing to wonder they're all combine. Let see a good listener always good at speaking cos they can understand what their partner talking about.

Dont worry dear! You may become a good speaker by just keep speaking without even think about mistakes. Just try as hard as you can and you will be good at it one day. But, you may need help from experts as well. Try me... if you want me  PM me...

Good speaker in English!for me very difficult to be a good one!!!!!But i wanna try to follow all things as all of u told.
