Exactly, try to understand the main idea is a good strategy, but I know it's hard because some words we never met before. So, while u're reading, have a highlighter with you always. just like our fren said read for the main idea. If u meet the word that u've never seen before, just hightlight it and skip it and continue reading. When u finish reading, go back and look up the word that u already hightlighted in the dictionary. Now u know the meaning of the word. Read the topic again and u'll understand the main idea! if u still don understand, just keep reading again and again until u feel comfortable!
