Loren, how about redistributing the advertising? I am using a laptop and when I opened it, I could only see the adverts and the title 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year). If you repositioned them, it would bring your content up nearer the top so that visitors know you have a site with content, not an MFA (Made for Adsense) Splog (Spam blog). Some visitors might not scroll down, but if there is clearly some texton screen, it will encourage them to do so. Also, if the adverts are more incorporated into the blog page, you might get more people clicking on them. If I scroll down, I see no more ads so won't click. If you had ads lower down, I might click after I have read an article and seen a relevant ad. |
