If you ever need our advise:

Firstly, cut out all the "Dear Blah Blah Blah" and "From your name"... make it your signature.

Secondly, your question is not clear. So I will answer randomly.

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is, as I remembered, developed and controlled by the Australian.

IELTS focuses on 4 major skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listenning.

You need to get more than 5.0 band score to pass the test these days.

Denith, your reply to Vortana was worse than a silence. He was trying to be formal and nice (I think it's a good habit) as a new member introducing himself to all members of the forum. It's always a good manner to address someone by name if we want to say something to him or her. I have found that some people in here don't do that and instead they post "quotation" of the person they want to address to without mentioning the names. I'm not sure if this is how it works in here, but in general it's not a good way to communicate. And it seems rude by any measure.

Vortana, I think it's still fairly early for you to take ielts but it's good to get familiar with it now so that you know what it's like and have much time to prepare for the features IELTS like to use to test test-takers.
You can find valuable info about IELTS in this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IELTS
Good luck.

Just be careful when you are using words. Don't try to put down yourself, but not to be proud too.  Cheesy

I never say that I'm self-proud or self-pity, only just I said this is what I believe.

Hello Vordana,

This is a strangly-spelled name, to me.  Grin

Welcome to the 5steps website.

I hope you'll enjoy it a lot here with us.

Look, it's too bad that I haven't taken any IELTS test so far but I have asked many people who have taken this test. According to them, the test of course takes abilities as well as self-confidence. One of my friends who took last year said that he regretted not feeling very well on the test day so he could get only 5.5. He said he was sure to get 6 or 6.5 if he felt better. For your information, he also practiced hard before the test.

Nice to know you. Have a nice try here.

It's also very important to be familiar with the exam in detail so you know what things get tested.

Does my message clearly imply some helps by pointing all the mistakes and not-to-do things.

Anyway, everyone have their own ways to explain and guide something, so you may not be into my mentorship.

"Practice makes perfect"
but
"Everyone is imperfect"

Why practice?
