hey hordararath,
This is actually the WRITING part of the discussion board, I am sure that if you look in the SPEAKING part of the discussion you will find some answers to your question, which have been given both by other students and by me.
Welcome to the website and it is great that you are enjoying learning English and want to improve your pronunciation. However, don't worry about it too much, as if you do, you may lose confidence. What I have personally found as a second language Khmer speaker, is that pronunciation is also hard for me too, in fact i am sure it is really bad
Howver, it is interesting that I am still understood as the words are part of a sentence and the people I am talking to can work it out. What you will find is that when you speak a language, the important thing is Communication and getting your message across, and for this CONFIDENCE is the best skill to develop.
I would concentrate only on the pronunciation problems which occur for native speakers or Cambodian who are learning English as a second language. As the problems of pronunciation are due to the direct different sounds each language has. As the site develops we will have more tips on what the pronunciation problems are and offer some speaking drills for practice to help you improve.
Really glad to have you as a member, and thanks for you question
have fun,
Paul
