How to become a good reader?

Dear all folks

   I joint this forum to shear my experience about English.
And Reading is the most difficult for my all though i am able to read books magazine newspaper and others.But it hard when taking reading test.

I need some help and advice.

I have one advice that I think it's very useful and I also learnt it from my teacher too.

A very important thing to remember of when doing ielts exams, esp. Reading test is to focus the questions. You can answer the questions correctly unless you understand the questions correctly.

No need to understand everything in the passage, just scan for the information that you need to answer your questions, and it is why we have focus on the questions. Moreover, we have to be careful when we find the information because the ielts reading test is tricky, so read the information carefully and read the question again to make sure that the information is correct or not.
