Hi guys,

Well don't be rush so you going to take ielts exam too right in the near future? And about that just relax don't worry too much all you need to do is spend more time on practise and especially do as vityea said ya know i've ma own way of improving ma english but hope it do work on you too.

For me yes of course i spent time on watching tv and it a bit longer than 30 mins s.t i spent till about 1-2 hrs watching ma favorite show. The reason i do this bcos when i watch ma favorite show is to understand what it mean. Let say a tv series. When you watch it you'll concentrate on what they talk about to understand what going on there what wrong there and so you be more common to how they speak and esp their accent and sfter that you know what you can do then. It takes a bit long to do like me but it does work perfectly. Oh one secret just tell your friends to watch it too so you need to listen to what they say to talk to your friends ha. That what i do.
And ya know what did i watch huh don't laugh i watch cartoon series bcos it easy to listen too so i'll catch up with the real program.
Meanwhiles, just continous your practise ok.

Hope it work on you too.

Nice talking to you,
Dexter

Improve lestening?

Ah, it's hard work right? I do agree with Vityea and Dexter that's really great. I like cartoon too. But when having test is not as easy as when listen to the show or something. You will feel nervous, right? So to do well with your listening test. You must make yourself happy and feel free about that. Don't care too much. And of course, you can't spend only one week before the test to practise listening. How do you listen to Khmer? AH?? everyday right? and what about English? If you want to make your English listening better for you, you must think how can you make it the same to listening to Khmer. I know you know how to do that, right?

Hi peaktra, hope you are doing well!!!

your problem could be remedied for the following concerns:

- Im sure you have practiced at the GILC, ace, and you found difficult in getting well scores, but the hint noted in the practice test at the back of the test, which you could refer to la.. ( practice in strict exam condition, and check your answer and then go back to the same test and evaluate yuur scores against previous one), minor mistakes also cause your scores lower, be in mind.

- Vocabulary also a matter for listening, when you do not understand what they are saying, you will not be to have smart guest in instant time, improvement on the new vocab. could help you doing!!!

At last, pratice as much as you can do.

It's good that you seek from your friends and other advice of how to get it improve., well done.

Cheers, hope you are satisfying your ielts results na..

Hi everybody,

Hi Chesda you remind me when i take ma ielts test and when i do ma practise. All i have to do is be happy so you can get at least 80% of all meaning ok ,i said meaning not words. And yeah abt listen to khmer verybody know what should they do so do just the way you did.

One more thing that make me this good listener is that yeah i start with cartoon and then step up with a tv series and then movies(several time/one movie). That what i deserved now i think it cool enough for me but hope to get better. Don't forget that AMBITION is the ladder to success but know yourself first bcos everyone say that the higher you go the more pain you got is that rite Chesda.

Nice talking with you guys,
