I used to share your problem, Vichea. But what you can do now is to simply listen as much as you can. At the same time, continue improving your English. It takes time. I remember the time when i was listening to the BBC with my headphone, feeling frustrated cos I didn't know what they were driving at. But believe me, practice does make perfect. Several months later, you know, i was better with my listening and of course enjoyed my favourite programs on NGC (i know what is said!)

hi vichea ! listening is also 1 of the difficult thing that students have faced. and you can iprove this thing by just : first look at your questions then read read as quikly as u can then underline the key word in your questions do like this it can make u more easily to know or understand what ur questions have asked u. second if ur questions is a gap filling decide what will going to be in the gap will it be Present simple, Past or Past perfect and etc or will it be Plural or Singlular because this is the difficult part of Listening, But u have to do as quickly as u can ok ! that is all for me. if u think that it will useful for u just practise it u know i have done like this that why i can get 6 ban in ielts

Hi!Vichea,

One of the good way to improve the listening is to listen to english radio or english programm on TV as much as you can to make you get used to it!! or you can both look at the scripts and listen. By this I mean if you have an english text book and its casste, you can practise by following its script...ok, do you get what I mean now?!!

From Lyda.

I dont' think listening is too hard for us If we have a good method! for my self study, when I'm beginer I usually listen the number and some easy word. After that,I try to listen every word which I can hear. When my vocab is better,I begin to try the meaning of the sentence. Now,Although I just miss some word , I feel more confident and I don't scare listening.
If you have a method which better than me.Please share for every one!
