Hello,

I have a little problem with accents. A lot of students of English tend to American English, British English or Australian English accent. I am not so sure about which one is good for me and easy for me to adopt. Moreover, when I use words, I seem to use a mixture of American words with British words. Of course, I am not a native speaker of English, but i would just like to be able to use the right words for what I want to say. So, the differences between English used like this make me rather confused and not have potential in using English.

Thank You!

u need not worry about ur accent.  it's the problem ( i don't think it is) of many non-native english.  see in my mother language (TELUGU), we do hv so many words spoken with different accents. villagers pronounce it one way and highly educated in another way (like that). of course, there is change in pronunciation with respect to places also.

in my opinion, pronunciation rules r made according to some standards of their country.  so, i belive, follow ur own way, whether it's br. english or am. english or aus. english or a mixutre of all.

but hv clear pronunciation whatever u follow. don't swallow some letters (just like aus/british).

so, don't worry abt pronuncation. think once and take the easiest method that u wish and follow it.

all the best
