listening and remembering

Dear Paul,

How are you?
Could you tell me some tips about listening, please?
I'm not really good at listening. When I listen to the CD player in class, I know what they are saying, but after the teacher stop the CD player and he ask "What did they talk about?" There are 6 main things to remember, but I can remember 2 things. Even I pay attention a lot.

I think I can remember only a very short time. :cry:
Is it good if I take medicine to make me remember?

  I have two ideas and hope that they are helpful for you.

Stay focus. Focus on what you are listening to, you cannot remmember anything or even understand what it is talking about if you don't pay attention on it.

Take notes. Take notes about what you are listening to, i think it's the best practise for listening skill :wink: . Remember, no need to write everything you hear, and it's also impossible, just note the keywords.
