Good sources for you from Jupiter.

I can help a tad.

Could anyone help me with some metaphors? I could find it in the Internet. Plz help me to find the real meaning of the metaphors below:

1. A stitch in time saves nine. used to say that it is better to deal with problems early than wait until they get worse.
2. Bridge over troubled water. (I’ve seen water under the bridge, which means in the past, forgotten, and not worth worrying about or a situation has changed, especially over a long period of time or since a particular time.

Ex: It’s all water under the bridge now. Let’s leave it behind us.
Ex:
3. Fountain of youth. (I’ve never seen but guess it means: the flow or process of a youth’s life)
4. A man with no roots. a man with no feelings or connection to his home
5. An ocean of ideas. a lot of ideas
6. It's food for thought. something that makes you think carefully.
7. Some teachers spoon feed their student. to give too much information to someone or help someone too much...
8. Don't waste your energy. or we say don’t waste your breath: (It has no effect. Or stop what you are doing as it’s not going to change anything.)
9. Have a heart. (used to tell someone not to be so strict or unkind)
10. Eat your heart out. two meanings
1.   used to compare two things and say that one is much better
2.   (BrE) to be unhappy about something or to want someone or something very much
Ex: He’s the new teen idol—eat your heart out!
Ex: She’s not coming back s it’s no use lying here eating your heart out.
