It's only online when you have forum windows open- you're offline at the time of replying.  I have set the forum so that it logs me in automatically, which is presumably the same as yours- when you open the forum, it knows who you are and says that you're online.  Cheesy

Thank you Tdol for your explanation.

In fact, I didn't login or it didn't automatically log me in. I view the forum as guest, when I opened the forum window. But I saw at the USERS ONLINE of the forum my account "Chesda" was online. I clicked on the name and it brought me to my info. At first I thought there might be someone has the same user name as I am, but it was my profile. So, I wondered if I never login why my account was online.( I viewed the furom as guest ) or someone else can use my account?! Huh

Usernames can't be the same, I think. At least, they have to be unique with the software we use on our site.  Do you use internet cafes or log in from home?

I loged in from the Internet Cafe.

Anyway, I experienced someone else hacked my Yahoo Account and use it. I need to change passwords many times to be secured. It will be not good for me, if someone else use my account to do something bad. I once knew about the hacking of my Yahoo Account, when I was using Yahoo Massanger with my friend, she said I sent her something bad, actually, I didn't. One more thing, I feel lazy to change passwords many times. :-(

Do you have any tips to be more secured using the Internet?

I don't have any tips plus no idea that your account is online by itself, it would be impossible.

I feel lazy to change passwords many times. :-(

I no longer face this problem as well, it's happened a few months ago.
On the morning of one day I went to my cousin's Internet shop. I logged in to yahoo messenger to chat with friends then an hour later, I signed out and I was really sure that I've already logged out but my cousin, she sms me to asked for this point at lunch time. She said: Do I still at Internet shop somewhere? You know I was so surprised that she told me: My id was online....I immediately came to her house: Oh my god, it was real....
I have an idea!. I replied her.
We should chat with this person and tell him/her not to do so next time anyway I didn't get any responds. So second step is to change the password!. My cousin said.
Tommorrow I came to her shop again as well as I used the same computer (It happened as yesterday). I wasn't the only one who met this, my brother also. He did the way I did but didn't work anymore. (he used the same computer as mind)
Finally, we found out no one used our ids, in fact, there was something wrong with this pc.

You say: ' You was using yahoo messanger with friends then one of yours said you sent her something bad '. The computer have done by itself actually, it may got the virus...
Ex: This is my pictures during this hot summer time...Please click here to see the photos.
Is that what she got?
Sorry if i get your point wrong. Huh Grin

If you're using an internet cafe, then make sure that before you finish the session you log out of all accounts.  Then delete the browsing history (open Tools menu in Internet Explorer and choose it in Options, or choose it from the Tools menu if you're using IE7)   or clear Private Data (It's an option in the Tools menu in Firefox).  This will clear the history of pages, cache and other things.

Also, make sure you never save a password in an internet cafe.  If you do, then go to another cafe and change it there after you have deleted all history from the first machine.

Thank you for yours,

Ok, I will try to delete that.

Thank R1, For me it absolutely, hacker! not virus... Cos, one time my friend showed me the picture of my email when log in (at the in box of my email). It was really sure that. Someone use my passward and log in and Print Screen that picture of my email when log in into inbox. However, that's ok! This just the way Internet is.
