Hey whenever I speak english, most time I can not come up with all the words I wanna use fastly like I write. It seems like my brain works a bit slow or sth when I come to talk. Sometimes I feel stucked with the words. Anyway, Im personally not a good speaker though. Any solutions to solve this problem?

You can join the speaking club and build up your speaking confidence. It is not the matter of your slow brain reaction speed, but the problem lies within your day-to-day brain thinking process, I mean, if you want to be quick at responding to English speaker, you must think in English, IN ENGLISH, yeah... that's what brain is all about - accustom and adaption.

Well, that's one point to be considered when it comes to building up speaking confidence. In the meantime, I have also had some tips to give away. To my understanding, basically you also need to take good care of the intonation of those English Terms. Once you know how each word is pronounced, you will be able to precisely communicate your conversation to your listener with less confusion and misunderstanding. Over and over again, it will come to practicality again. If you don't verbally practise, then you are not gonna be speaking fluently. Remember that Rome wasn't built a day. Likewise, learning how to speak accurately and properly also is time-consuming. One last thing of my suggestion is that, it is a matter of mastering as much as possible the vocabulary. Once you are rich with words, you will be capable to utilize it from one situation to another and by so doing, you will actually be able to get more control in the way you speak that results in speaking confidently and appropriately.
Foregoing is just for your information and consideration. No matter what, other sources remain under your further effort and commitment to work it out. Hopefully, it might help you some how,
Cheers, Antoneen

Antoneen, you pointed out really well all the points needed to be done to become a good English speaker. Some words sound the same if you take away intonations. For example, letter and later, leave and live,... It's important to be able to know the difference and be able to pronounce the words correctly.
I think an electronic dictionary can help us to learn that to some extent although i don't have one.

Yeah Absolutely right! Rome was not built in one day! I always remember with that proverb. Actually I usually practise by speaking with my pals all the time and whenever I talk with them, my words come out smoothly. But when it comes to talk with strangers, Gosh!! It's blanked most of the times. I suppose it's either due to lacking of confidence mostly or I didn't learn english properly in school. hehe Everytimes, After arriving home, I start to learn my pronounciation by my english dictionary which installed in my laptop. It has both bri and Ame sounds. It helps me a lot, though. I will try to take more time to improve my speaking more fluently. Anyway, I appreciate for all your suggestions. Thanks! Panharath

I have noticed something, Antoneen, you are not living in PP (Off topic).
But on the topic: it is most people problem, how many times we have seen this like of topic? This one is nothing far more complicate, and in the end of the day, everyone comes up and say just to build up confidence. I say, come on people, let's get real, speaking needs more than confidence, but flexibility and versatility.

Hey Hey Hey!!! Denith, Talking for real, what drive you think I aint living in PP? Some time, what you speak doesn't actually mean what you actually believed in. Well, as everyone can discern, all we are uttering in here is sharing and when it comes to sharing, undoubtedly we are giving away what we individually is undergoing. Furthermore, we were born and brought up in different setting. Hence, we will come up with different idea and attitude to share. By and large, there is no right and wrong but we can flesh out more where we think it is proved to be useful and accurate, isn't it? In conclusion, your viewpoint is another good tips while the rest of others also play a good role in improving speaking skill. It is appreciated and wise of us to know how to integrate those points... I am not gonna be sided nor protesting but basically neutral! Cheers!
