I need some respones of your EXPERIECE. Maybe, it can show be the better way in READING PROGRESS.

Welcome for all respones...

Hello Kasila,

I'm glad to reply to your post. I see that you have a lot of work to do, espcially about reading. You have got two thick books to read before the classes. Let me tell you about my experience in reading. First, I started to read easy English story books. I tried to read from its lower to upper level. I knew that I needed to learn vocabulary stage by stage. And until now I have been able to read newspaper without too much trouble. I mean, i can read and understand. Anyway, I still find some unknown words in it, but I don't give up looking up those new words. I believe that reading is useful for our understanding of the English language. As we read, we gain knowledge.

Well, talking about your books, i think that you are to read those; otherwise, you won't catch up the lessons. But you know, maybe you can read other easy-to-understand English books as your aids to the two thick books. Doing this can help enjoy and be used to learning those two thick books. So what i suggest is that you still go on reading the task your teacher has assigned you and also read other easy books that help you get accustomed to reading. And, you should also discuss this with your teacher. When you meet some problems with your reading, you can ask your friends to explain and study in a group!  Cheesy  This is all my experience and I hope that others will help express their long history of reading  Smiley   .

Have fun!

Hi Kasila,

If you want to make your reading more effectively for your assignments. I would suggest you to try to read your books wisely, means you have to ask yourself what do you want from your reading? Do you want to know the meaning or the main ideas of the books or you want something else?
Please first you must ask yourself what do you want from your reading.

Then if you face problems with words or grammar you have to improve your ability of vocabularies and grammar otherwise, you won't know what does the books try to show you. Follow Keosomala and Vatha ideas they have good ideas.

One more thing is that you must make your reading happy, means you must make your reading interesting to you. Do you believe me that books can speak! Yes, ask yourseft do you like your friends? Do you like to talk to them? Sure, books are the same to your friends. Books will make you happy when you know books well. Please make your learning much happier. This will help you in some ways to improve your reading.

Wish you succeed your reading!

To Kasila,

well... now let me share u about my reading experience. First as Keosomala and Vatha have suggested, i started to read easy-level books first then i continued to read harder and harder books. Now i have finished 5 chronical of books of Harry Potter, yet i still havent finished de last one cuz of some reasons.....

anyway, u said u need to read those 2 thick books before class. i wanna know if u read de whole things in de book or u just skim for de main ideas as wat Sar Chesda has been said? if u did so, i'd recomment u not to read de whole things cuz it waste ya time... just find wat u need, de most important idea... Like me, i don read de whole things cuz there are countless books more for us to read...

Regard,
Keo Kalyan.
