 Hello everyone,  Grin

Here is my recent IELTS test from what I can remember,

Hope you find it useful,  Cheesy

 Khmer Kid

my IELTS test

Listening

The Listening section was okay and sections one and two were not so difficult. Section One involved filling out a form including Name, Address, Phone Number when reporting something was broken. The next part was details on how the item was broken.

Reading

Very long, not enough time to finish. The entire reading was about 6 pages long! It is not possible to understand every word, it is  important to try to skim and scan accurately to identify the places in the passage where you may find the answers. It is very important to transfer your answers to the answer sheet during the test, as there is no time given at the end to transfer your answers.
Reading One- Invention of clocks and the calendar
Reading Two-Different types of houses all over the world
Reading Three-Scientific experiences

Writing-Task One

Horizontal Bar Chart showing 5 different sports played by boys and girls in the year 2000. The task required comparison of the data relating to boys and girls and also identifying the most popular and least popular sports.

Writing- Task Two

People should save their own money for when they retire. Do you agree or disagree?

Speaking

Part One- What is your favourite town?
Why is it good to visit there?
What can you see and do there?
What kind of books do you like?
What books do most people read in your country?

Part Two- Describe your favourite person
                     -Why you like them
-Why you like spending time with them
                     -What you do together

Part Three- Compare your friends at work with your close friends
Is spending time with friends at work different from spending
                        time with close friends?
Do you think that chatting with people on the internet is a
                     waste of time

Hi Khmerkid and everyone here! Wink

As I've read many posts in this fantastic forum, I noticed that most of you are experienced about IELTS while I've never tested. Anyway, thanks for sharing me and other members of this forum about your experience and I'd be delighted to wish you guys a good result in your test.

Cheer!
