You got 3 choiceS: 1. Burn all the newspaper your father bought 2. Slice them into pieces so that you only read it word to word 3. Just turn it upside down so you will completely don't understand it.
Kidding...
Well, to be serious, just keep reading, learn new words along the way, but there will be many new words on the list so choose which ones to learn and which shouldnt.

To catch up the meaning of the content of the newspaper you read firstly you need to understand the concept of reading. After you grasp the right methods of reading then you can make it through.
From my point of view with previous experience i learned that reading the newspaper is simple as soon as we know the concept. It comes like this:
1- Read the main title of the news 2- What is it about? 3- Where this event or issue take place? 4- Whom this context speak about? 5- Why this subject? 6- When was this happen? or when is it going to happen?
These steps will enable you to follow structurally what the author want communicate with their audiences. Make yourself relax and try these simple steps. Hope you'll learn something new...
If it is still not working then just wait for other friends in this forum to share their experience. I hope to hear more from them as well.
Thanks! Loren

NOTE: These 4 additionals are very important and shall be done in the first place.

used to think I had the answers to everything. But now I know, that life doesn't always go my way. So I must do something to get it to be the best one. All I have to do now is to get the best quality of learning English.

i find out:" Newspaper is so hard to read even the topic interesting me".What m i gonna do then? Hi Rachada, As for my experience, I choose only a topic that interests me, no matter how hard the text may appear. How can you read a newspaper, especially one in the English language? It takes your undertsanding of vocabulary, of course, as well as your understanding how the structures are formed. My favourite English newspaper is the Cambodia Daily, which I hope is preferred by local and foreign people in Cambodia. I remember when I read the Cambodia Daily for the first time. I kept alongside me, an English dictionary to help me with any unknown words I was going to encounter in the news. I learned every unknown word in the text and afterwards tried to figure out the meanint myself. This is a way that my teacher has instructed us to do to be able to read an English news. By doing so little by little at the beginning, you can absorb some hard-to-understand vocabularies, save them and will see them soon in the next news. So I practiced this again and again by learning every unknown word in the news (I chose a short text news to read) and grasping the main point of it. Later on, when I took hold of the English news again, I started to feel confident of reading it through without having to look some words up once again. I don't suggest you to do as what I said, Rachada. You may have your own habitual preference of learning. And how your reading of the news will improve depends on what and how you like doing it. Just some ideas. Enjoy yourself.
