one after another, one after the other, one after the others

now i have encountered a very simple question

how to use the phrase:

one after another
one after the other and
one after the others

It seems to me that you have not joined us for a few months, Kimlong. However, it is very nice to see you come and join us again. You always have great questions here.

As far as I know (after asking some teachers), "one after another" & "one after the other" sound the same and mean " one that follows another or one by one". For example, I ordered my students to come out of the class room one after the other/another.

For "one after the others", I think that it does not mean the same as the two above.I think it means "only one (student) left after so many students who left at the same time" or we should say "one student left after the others".
