position of adverb

Hello Paul and everybody,

Could you help me with this sentence? "I want to know well what I should do" or I want to know what I should do well". In fact, what I want to understand most is that I want to place well in the right place as I want to mean that "I know well". But I'm not sure where I should place "well", after "know" or after the sentence.

I' m not really sure too, but I would choose the first one " I want to know well what I should do" I think well here modifies to know and well in the second sentence modofies to do
