But doesn't EACH member has their profiles? If you really WANT to know them, click on their profiles and you will learn everything they show publicly. What is the point of this thread then?

Nila, you are the moderator while I'm not, thus it is you who makes decision which will be followed, and respect, from the other members. But, I want you to come into the stage of critical consideration, because a mod, even without any authority into the policy-making, may affects the forum's policy. It is us who will follow the forum policy. This place suppose to improve member's -individually- English standard and help solves their problems. If we come to the stage where we choose to contact others personally, then the forum, therefore, becomes a place for more privately arrangement then publicly seeking for helps. You may question my early comments on "privatization" and I may answer that you made good point to make me withdraw this concept. However, this lead to the matter of "forum policy" which i brought in earlier, and this must be taken seriously. Who told you I am here to make decisions which will be blindly followed or respected? I tell you, I am not like you, mate. I am here to learn from other members. I don't separate myself from them. You'd like me to come into the stage of critical consideration. That's good of you to do that. Anyway, if I came into the stage of critical consideration, I would have done something about you said or several posts you made earlier. As what you remember, I did warn you never to say something members don't like. Anyway, what's the forum policy you have mentioned? I'd be relaly glad if you post the forum policy here. My regard is for those who believe in themselves, I'm not selfish. It is because I have no authority in this forum, but I registered for its service, I feel that I have the right to protest against something I fear may affect the forum's well-being. Thus, to Palm-Tree, you must make it clear about your purpose of this thread, if you want this to survive. The verdict is base on reasons, not feelings. I have registered for its service as well. And not only I but also others care about the well-being of the forum. Thanks for your concern, we all do. I have wondered about whether it's from your feelings or reasons because so far you have only listened to yourself but not other people's reasons. We haven't prevented you from posting your protesting at all. In fact, it's fin as it shows your feelings and ideas. Yeah, you should discuss this with Paul.

Is this really worth arguing about? I haven't put anything in the thread because, like Denith, I don't put too much personal information into the public domain. I do agree with him that people should think carefully about what they reveal online. However, at the same time, it doesn't strike me as a thread that will endanger the well-being of the forum. If you do feel that, it would be better to go straight to Paul with your worries and contact him directly through the Private Message service. Any member has the right to express their views and concerns about the forum, and Paul will take them seriously. If a forum is anything, it is first and foremost a community and one that exists to exchange views and ideas. It is also a place where concerns about policy can be discussed with those who are in charge of it.

Your moderator status does. what's the forum policy you have mentioned? What is this forum for? Isn't this forum for people who in deep need for enhancing their English comprehension and need for assistant to their problems resolution? Is this forum made for, on the other hand, posting about own personal contact in order to find "love"? And it is Palm Tree who suggests so. I called to him and he did clearly said he posted this thread because he was bored. Don't i get him rite? I see him as a good person, because he tried all his best, he won competition, and he even made me one of the winner. I know he would sometimes make mistakes because he is really young. And I also did mistake when I was in other forum. And I DID accept them even your warning. hehe. @Tdol... about you asking whether it worth arguing? I say this is not arguing, this is some matter of serious discussion and I will never put it into the name of "argument." About you telling me for going straight for Paul, I think I will do it and i have to do it. About you questioning the potential threat this THREAD can provides, all I will say is that this will lead us to more chit-chat place rather than its original-self.

Posting one's background? Yeah I will post when I decide to find a soul mate! LOLZ Well, Here is a FORUM, not a CHATROOM. FORUM is a place where people can exchange opinions and ideas on particular issues. CHATROOM is a place for people to chit-chat in order to kill time only. So, I think we don't need to post any profile here. Remember we need everyone's opinion but no everyone's profile.

What's important is to ask yourself if you want to post your background here or not. You 'don't need' to post it. You may or may not post it; it's all your decision. Somebody who has posted it made their decision to do it. Anybody's profile isn't required here, but you can feel free to do it. No hard feelings.

Oh, I love such a movie, Denith. Are you kind enough to lend it to this 20-year- old girl, not 18?
