Hi Dina,

Linking word and Stative verb are different.

Linking verbs are verbs used to link a subject to a subject complement.

Eg. He is a doctor. (He=subject, is=linking verb, a doctor=subject complement)

Sative verbs are verbs not showing and action.

Eg. He loves her. (love=satative verb) He kisses her. (kiss=action verb.)

Just a short and simple idea.
