Hi Shaly, What I want to suggest you is that you should read what you are interested in. You can read sad stories of course, but at the same time you can also read jokes in English. You need to read what interests you. Anyway, you can also do some reading of some books which have different levels, from a lower to an upper level. This way, it can improve your vocabulary and your understanding. Always ask yourself what you have read after reading.  Hope it helps. |

Hi shaly!
I think improve your reading by reading the english book or newpaper which you are interasted.You should think, you read the book for make you happy.When you are on your reading,you may come out the vocabulary that you don't understand.So you can check it on the dictionary.You can check as posible as you can.
Remember, Read the story or news which you are interested in and Make you happy......

Hmm... firstly, you must feel yourself interested in that topic. Then, you must find a comfortable position to read. Then read while listening to music (soft music) coz it helps removes some boredom.

Plus:
- rest 5 minutes of every 30 minutes reading... relax
- read of those you find similar to your interest such as about Bitchney Spears or Justin Fu*kinglake etc, so your excitement will increases through it.
- Don't turn on tv, its hurt... its distraction possibility is greater than radio.
- You can choose to read alone or with someone nearby... but reading alone is more peaceful

Hi Shaly & discussion group!
You know, reading is my favorite. This is my success in studying english, but not other than that.
I can read everywhere. But most of the time, i read at home only. I like reading out laud. Usually, I read newspaper, magazine, economic related, development related, information technology and so on.
So you can choose the topic you like to read. Don't ever force yourself to read something that you don't want to read or hard for you to understand. As soon as you do it then your knowledge will be automatically expand.
