Hello!!!!!

guys, how u doing? i hope u all will enjoy this holiday alot. well! for me is different, i didnt have time to enjoy but i gotta stay at home and do some work for my class when school start. it seems boring but wat can i do?

i have to do lots of reading especially when i found new words and i have to check them -- i mean every single word.

dear paul,
i try to guess for context meaning, but it seems that my english hasnt rise to that level. i hate studying english, and there is time when i ended up crying and throw my books away instead of keep reading it.

i hate myself for not have a vairety of vocabulary so i can learn to speak english better.

newsapapers is one thing, the reason i don like to read it often is because the words they used is so difficult to understand. now, i rarely read newsapapers though i know it will help in my english alot.

hope to get UR advice soon!!!!

see ya..

Hello Love Ruby,

Personally I think, reading is surely a hard thing to do, but when you do it regularly and with understanding, you are going to enjoy reading very much. Of course, we should read steps by steps.  Cheesy There are books that are made from a low level to a higher one. So, it is like growing a seed, little and little, it will grow. As i see it, you are now a university student, so you need to read a lot as you possibly can to catch up. But you see, when you do not feel happy to read, you end up crying or throwing the books away. I have one suggestion for you. You could always have time to read a book that you can do with pleasure first. I mean, it can be a story book that you can enjoy or something you like. I believe that you actually have your own favourite book. You can start to read continously. Talking about the newspaper, you can choose the topic you like best first. All those books can help you develop your vocabulary. Then when it comes to newspaper, you can prepare yourself for it. Please remember that whenever you meet a new word, be happy because it means you know mroe and more.

This is all my experience.
Have a nice day.

hello,

kounila has emphasized the correct point.

Don't try to read the entire newspaper.  For example, if u like sports, read nws on sports.  If u know more abt politics, read the articles on them.

Don't be distressed.  What kounila said is entirely correct.  Follow it and enjoy success in ur life.

bye
all the best
