What is the chance that the satellite debris fall onto Cambodia?

Total earth surface area is 510,072,000 kmē and Cambodia's surface area is 181,035 kmē.
So the chance of Cambodia getting hit by the debris is (181 035/510 072 000)*100 = 0.0355%

It's even much less for Phnom Penh. It should be 0.0000737% considering PP surface area of 376 Km2.

So don't worry folks.

The bad thing is the chance of getting money from the US governement for damage by the debris is almost zero.
But we'd rather have it falling somewhere else because there's lots of toxic stuff in it.

It has already been shot down by the US navy. Pretty impressive considering the speed of the sattelite orbiting the earth is so fast that a fraction of second off, early or late, the missile would have missed it. The US at the same time can use it to show the world that they can shoot down any sattelite up there if they want to.

Sooo... no more worry folks. Wink
