Practicing is the best way to acquire the language.

American speak English very well because they speak English everyday.

Australian speak English fluently because they practice.

English is officially speak in their country so they can practice quite alot.

I hope u got my idea, my english is terrible   Undecided

Speaking?

yeah! you are right. The most effective way to speak English fluently is to practice as much as you can. Also I would like to recommend you to listen to the radio, cassete tape, or video cd that has the subtitle underneath. Listen to the way they pronounce and try to pronounce the way they pronounce. On more thing is whenever you learn a new word, please try to pronounce it right, both pronunciation and stress, because it is important don't take it for granted. Once you pronounce it right at the first place, you don't need to repeat the same mistake again.

This is just little part about reading, and I know u guys have a lot of different ideas than I do, so share ouy knea phong na! Wink

Dear Chinda,

Yes, i would to add some ideas about speaking skill too.

As every one said Practise is the best. How could we be a good speaker even though we are scared to open our mouth.

In Addition, we need to know many skill too such as:
1. Subject: Do we got many concepts about that topic or not? The more you know the better you can speak.
2. Word order: we should know to use the work correctly. Both word order or use directly word.
3. Sound: Try to speak as foreigner na. i mean try to make you sound more better.

Thanks.

Oh I see that all of you have many good concepts for the speaking skill. I'm very happy to get all of you ideas. However, I have some points for this topic. You know if we the first speaker (mean we learn as the first time), we should try to speak even we can't speak well. One more thing, Don't be care much about the grammar, you should try to speak and make sure we can our listeners understand what we mean. Later, we need to be confident. Confidence is very important not only when we are speaking, but also when doing any other things. When you think that you can make yourself confident, you can speak well. Ok, like someone said above, to know clear topic is very significant too because when we clearly know that topic, we can spread out our own ideas as well as make the cofidence in speaking.
You know I'm also not good at speaking but I think some of my ideas can help you.
Good luck na everyone!!! Smiley
