Hello everyone, Smiley
I, a very brand new member Cheesy , have a very serious problem with complex rules of the Subject-Verb agreement. I've read some books so far, and I've found that the rules are really difficult for me to remember.
Are there any effective learning styles to save it all in my brand?
I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas about my problem.
Thanks in advance.

Hi my new mate!!

Welcome to join us!

I have read through your question and you said you are the serious problem verb-agreement-structures learner, aren't you?

And you mentioned you have read quite lot of books, it's right!!

But please do remember that learning to remember is not  the way to make one perfect, but it is practice!

The more you practice writing or doing exercise, the better you remember the structure or verb agreement!!

Yeah, what a cool advice!
Therefore, you implied that I'm not supposed to learn by heart. I should practice writting more, right?
Yep, got it.
Thanks,

Hi all  Smiley

I wanna share some thought of mine about this topic.

I consent to Kimlong's suggestion that we should practice as much as possible 'cause it can help us remember the rule we wanna remember.

Yet, in some cases we have to learn by heart as well. For me the meaning of learn by heart does mean learn by repetition , that is, it's related to practice 'cause when we practice a lot means we repeat a lot, too.

Repeat (practice) what you think it's not easy to put it into your memory!
