1. a good idea to wear a digital watch with stop-timing program. It helps you to manage your time more wisely.
2. keep your eye on your watch. Of course, the examiner will inform you at a specific time. But to avoid Shock, look at your watch frequently.
3. some examiners do not warn you when the test is nearly over(maybe it's a rule, it happened in my case).
4. So, make sure you transfer your answers(esp in reading test, 2 of the candidates in my room at that time didn't transfer before the test is over). you can do it question by question, question group by question group, section by section.( question group by question group worked best for me)
5. make sure you transfer your answers to the correct colums. be very very very careful, most candidates i asked always had this problems.
