Hi everyone and Mary, The dwarf lemon tree, grown in many areas of the world, bears fruits when it is fewer than six inches in high.
The sentence involve an error high, I don't know why,so I want someone to give me an idea about this.thanks in advance! The dwarf lemon tree, grown in many areas of the world, bears fruits when it is fewer than six inches in high. Mary, I think the error in the sentence is "high" because "high" is an adjective so "high" cannot stand after the preposition "in". Prepositions need nouns/pronouns/verb +ing or something that functions as a noun. And adjectives usually go in front of nouns like "a good student, a high building..." The sentence should be: The dwarf lemon tree, grown in many areas of the world, bears fruits when it is fewer than six inches in height. "Height" is a noun of "high". Just some ideas.

Hey guys, I have just returned from Vietnam and have picked up the very latest TOEFL preparation book, which has all the information you need about the TOEFL internet Based Test. It is published by ETS ( educational training services), the administrators of the TOEFL test and was published this year in 2006. The book has latest information about the TOEFL ibt speaking section as well as some useful updated material on both the TWE ( essay ) and the sentence correction. It is that new off the press, that it is still hot in my hand!! It has now got a place in the 5steps library and if anyone is interested I would be happy to lend it out to those students who are planning to take the TOEFL test in the near future. If anyone is interested to become the 5steps librarian and will take responsibility for lending it out to the members, I woud be happy to do that. have fun, Paul

Hey guys, The 5steps library is located in my house, and is my own personal collection of materials for research and reference. I would be willing to give some of the books to a 5steps librarian, one of you guys!, who could then issue and arrange to give the books to whoever may wish to borrow them. So, if anyone wants to volunteer to be librarian, we can start maybe with 5 books and see who would be interested. Have fun, Paul

Thanks Paul for posting this good news for us who want to take TOFEL test in near future.Especially thanks for your generous idea that you like to lend your personal reference books to us. I wish I could be the librarian if I had enough time and knew more places. I hope I can borrow the new TOFEL -CBT book soon. But I can wait in turn somebody who urgently need it borrow first. Anybody can tell me where the Angkor Bookshop is?Thank you. Have fun, Mary

Hi Mary,
You want to know where Angkor Bookshop is. I might can help you.
Well, the shop is on the road called "Khemerak Phummen". Let's see, do you know Phsa Tmey (Yellow market)? It is the road infront of the big entry of Yellow market. It is rather big road. You go straigh on this road to the East, crossing three small roads and then Norodom Boulevard, going on for about 50 meters, and on your left hand side you will see Angkor Book shop. There are also several other bookshops nearby.
Hope you got it. Tell me if need more help. I feel free to help you.
Good luck
Kat
