Hi Naomi

You want to find a good school for TOEFL training program. Is it right?
Ok, I tell you school is not important for you but teacher is and also yourself.
Good teacher and good student get together is the best.

Hey Naomi,

For TOEFL training, you can go and ask information at RUPP, second floor (room 214 as far as I remember).

HI..

I's really appreciated for your time and interest in my topic..

REally big thank for ur information..

and really happy to see the idea of getting good teacher. I myself think the same way.. that's y i try to look around for that purpose..

My friend said.... school and teacher are not as important as ourselve.. Learn urself is much better.. but i really can't take that idea due to my personal behavior.. it's hard to learn just only myself in quiet room..has... i prefer having friend around and study together.. getting new idea.... share some fun...or even their personal problem..

Happy to be your friend

Hello, Naomi!
I'm quite interesting in ur question due to my own experience. I used to study iBT-TOEFL preparation course at RUPP. But I haven't taken the test yet. Anyways, I think it's hard to find the best place to study TOEFL because it is a very new kind of international test. Therefore, we hardly find experienced teachers to teach us, especially in Cambodia. However, don't be hopeless. I think studying with teacher is not that important. The crucial thing is ourselves. Seft-studying is the best way. Somehow, u just need some advices from teacher, but U have to work hard by urself. I recommend u to buy New TOEFL book to learn by urself as well as get a training course from RUPP. I think it'd help! Oh, U also need to practice TOEFL test on CD-ROM coz the real test will be on the computer.
That's just all for my little idea. Just hope that it'll help ya.

 Hey guys,  Grin

The team at 5steps is aware of the need for experienced trainers for the iBT TOEFL and we are in the process of developing curriculum. It is great to study by yourself, but in order to focus on your areas of weakness and get some tips and techniques, a qualified teacher is important. The team of trainers at 5steps is currently undertaking the iBT test and when a method has been found to be effective, it will be put in place as a core 5steps iBT curriculum. 5steps have found that the new TOEFL is much more demanding than the old one and needs some pre-academic English training for a student to be fully prepared.

5steps will also run a free TOEFL iBT student workshop in May 2007 and if you want to take part, please send your details by sms to 012 639 686 to keep informed!

 Have fun,  Wink

hey Naomi!
u wanna get training course for new toefl? alright, u know before i take the new ibt toefl test, i also go to a training course. however, i found out that it is not a really useful way to get higher in this new test. i think that the best way is to practice by ur own. regarding how to practice, u may buy the ibt book and its cd-rom. the recommended book and cd-rom is longman trademark. u know i take the training course n it's useless. in the end, i just sit in front of my computer practising by my own with longman ibt cd-rom for about a week n have a test. i advise u to look for advises about this new test on the internet n practice it by ur own is better.
i hope that this would help u.
c u!

Oh I think that you shouldn't worry too much about when you will know English well and can get the good result on the TOEFL test and have enough ability to study abroad. The most primary and important thing is you should try your best to study English first. If you try hard, your English will become better soon, and of course you can take the TOEFL test in order to know how good is your English.
Good luck na!!! Smiley
