Usage of Tens of, Hundreds of, Thousands of...?

What are the differences among:

1/ Tens of people were killed.
2/ Hundreds of people were killed.
3/ Thousands of peole were killed.
4/ Millions of people were killed.
5/ Tens of thousands of people were killed.
6/ Hundreds of thousands of people were killed.
    and so on and so on.

1/ Tens of people were killed means " People Rorb Seb Neak were killed"
2/ Hundreds of.... means"Rorb Roy Neak"
3/ Thousands of... "Rorb Porn"
And it goes on and on.
5/ Tens of Thousands and Hundreds of Thousands "I'm not sure, so I can't tell".

I know and I never forget that this is the only one and maybe the first FREE English learning website in ASEAN countries, so that I hope my questions will have answers and I DO think that those questions really NEED the answers.

I think there should be any differences between
1/ Tens of people were killed and 2/ Hundreds of people were killed and so forth.
