14th FEB is drawing near... flower sellers, restuarants, to hotels, are preparing their business for this single but special day.
Seeing Valentine Day's fame spreads out through Cambodian society in this fast speed, I have some questions to ask:
- What exactly is the "Valentine Day": A day for LOVERS or a day for LOVE? - What exactly do people do on that day? - How much does it benefits to the society?

- Valentine day is the day for LOVE not for LOVERS but our Cambodia teenagers turned this day for LOVERS! - I think in Cambodia most singles get this chance to get a girls "Woo girls". And most lovers, they just spend time together. - It's nothing for society but it's something for lovers.

As the result, it seems to cause Cambodia's economy a bit better then! Hey Denith, why you pick up this question or you never celebrate such day! Incredible..

Yeah Lovers are in category of Love! But hey! LOVERS mean love between 2 persons as a couple and LOVE not only for couples but also for your family, friends, relative.... Come on! Do not mix it up!

Yeah, I've never celebrated it... honestly, on that day, I play games at home and give less care to the event.
Back to the point, I checked the MS Student and it clearly says the Valentine Day is for "Love" not for "Lover" , and I agree with Panharath that Cambodian people makes it day for :Lover:. Words!

I'm a bit different from you Denith. Even I don't care at all about that day but at least it's a day for love so I wanna spend time with someone I love as well, like I always went out and had some fun with my few closest friends. And for my family, I rarely spend time to have dinner with them so I always bought something or cook some special dinner with my family. That's how I celebrated my valentine's day.

Valentine is a great day for those in love and having partners. But it's a lonely and depressing day for those in love but th other party (girls or boys) don't know, those not having found love yet, and even more terrible for those who just broke up.
Is anyone here in these categories?
