What are the environmental problem in Phnom Penh city?

 - Hi everyone! I am a new people in Diccusion Zone. Today i'd like to ask all of you what the environmental problem are in PP? As we know, these days, we are facing the many environmental problem. It is not only Cambodia but also the world. However, i just want to get some of your opinions these problem. I hope that everyone will show out your opinions about the problem and hope to come with wonderful solutions as well.
I am looking forward to hearing your ideas.

Well! In Phnom Penh, there are tremendous amount of vehicles which is not one good topic to discuss. Apart from causing jam traffic, vehicle gas emission can harm its environment. But this is what everyone knows.

Well! I may lead you to other points.

Rubbish in Phnom Penh is NOT YET well-handling. There are still people who throw garbages or rubbish randomly and not to the rubbish cans. Well! at first, we may think that they are just rubbish. They wont "harm" any particular environment. But let me remind you:

- As rubbish are not placed in their right place, well - mainly people throw it along the street, it will blocks the water path to the stock pool. Thats make Phnom Penh the floating City. (hehe, ទី​ក្រុងលិចទឹក)

- From rubbish, harmful chemical substances lurk. Well! If you live near the FOUNTAIN of garbages... you should pay a visit regularly to nearby health care clinic and check your lungs.

- Is it beautiful to get a glance at the FOUNTAIN of garbages. Phnom Penh is organizing the program to clean the city, to make the city as heaven.

So, we need to re-consider the recycle programs more seriously. And people must address the situation firmly as we to compete with other cities.

  Hi you wanna go to ur homeland that  i agree but mayb you should come back later so you will observe the differences after all. within 10year, we will have had more cities and skycraper buildings. Everything  would change after the election i guess?
