Dear Dara,
Writing is a difficult and important part of English and I believe that it?s worth much effort to reach.
Knowing your weakness in writing will help you a lot if you wish to be able to write an accurate piece of writing. Thus, you have to find out the reasons that make you get stuck during your writing. Then try in any way to adjust it.
As we have discussed for so many times about that and we have also found two main reasons which are: - Grammar (difficulties in grammar)
- Ideas (having nothing to write).
These are the most popular problems which are faced by so many learners. Meanwhile, the solutions have also been found and shared.
As for the grammar problems, I think you should do it step by step from low to high. By this I mean, knowing every little stuffs of grammar (tenses punctuations vocabularies ...) is every important before you start writing essays. But if you are having troubles with this, you can take part-time class for grammar but I think this is not enough. You have to do the self-studying at home such as working on grammar books or other materials which are suitable. While you?re working, please try to get some questions to ask your teacher, I mean, try to find whatever you?re not sure about because it could make some confusions with the up-coming lessons.
After this is ideas ... the essays will not go well with only perfect grammar. I think idea is the most wanted thing in essays, so we have to spend much effort to get as much idea as we possibly can but this is not easy to do. And the best thing to solve this problem is to get knowledge or ideas from anywhere which related to the essays? topics such as reading, watching TV, listening to the radios ... and then combine them together with your own ideas. This is just the way that I usually choose when I?m assigned to do the essay writing.
Please go to the SPEAKING section for lots more tips.
Have fun,
