i've become a member in the site since Nov 24 and i 've made nearly 10 posts. we got more than 200 members, that's great and we got the total post nearly 300, that's also graet    BUT after i looking up in the memberlist, most of you (members) don't post anything WHY :?: U don't know how to post? or U don't want to share ur Ideas? or u are busy? or U join the site just for fun?  :?:

i am grateful for Mr. Paul Brown and other members like bunkhean, bunseng, loveruby, dennis, tst_tata,  who try to share their ideas to help others BUT i feel sorry for others who don't want to share Ideas in the site i don't know WHY?

Hey jupiter,  Cheesy

Welcome to the website, and it is great that you are getting involved in the discussion board and sharing ideas and information with other students who are learning English.  Cheesy

It is a fantastic response to this website and thank you to all students of English who are using www.5steps2ielts.com to help them improve their English skills. Of course for us to help you more, it would be brilliant if you could post your ideas or reply to other ideas by using the discussion forums as jupiter has suggested. The discussion forum is for you to ask any question you want answered about your English language learning, and the teaching team at 5steps2ielts.com is very experienced and will offer any advice by answering your posting/question.

I know that posting is difficult to do  :? , and we are working hard to try to make it easier for people. However, for some basic information on how to get involved and join in the discussions by asking or answering questions yourself by POSTING. Look under the ANNOUNCEMENTS in the discussion forum main page, and you will find a topic of HOW TO POST, here you will find a step by step guide of how to use this online resource better.  Cheesy

There is also the live online teaching chat, which takes place in the 5steps2ielts chatroom every Saturday and Sunday, 1pm-3pm, with me, Paul Brown (MA CELTA) and all members are invited to join the chatroom at this time to have a live chat with me and the other 5 steps members.
The live teaching chat started last weekend and was a great success, so thanks to everyone for that and those members that chatted with me, I hope you found some of the advice useful.  Cheesy

The team at 5steps hope to offer you support in your English language learning and knowing HOW TO POST, gives you the option of sharing your ideas, answer questions and even ask your own questions yourself about learning English in the discussion forum.  Cheesy

Thanks so much for everyone who is getting involved already, and I hope that more members come forward to share their ideas and express their views! The forum is by teachers, but it is for the students. So I encourage you to use it the best way that you can.

I am very very happy with the response from our members and I hope that all members can get involved in the website directly by using the discussion forum and joining the chatroom!  Cheesy

Hope to see some more of you posting topics and questions and look forward to chatting with some of you on the weekend in the live teaching chatroom.  Cheesy

have fun,

i think the reasons are

1. some people arent aware of this forum. well, they dont really know much about internet and that there is a thing called forum where they can post their ideas.

2. there is limit on access to internet. as u know quite well, most people dont have access to internet at home. they use internet at the cybercafe and it costs lots of money. every seconds are money in cybercafe so i think they barely have time just to read what u post (or they are simply lazy to read if it's long, over 6 lines or something). and some people go to internet cafe only once a week.

3. they simply dont have any idea.

Having read the common stated online related to the reason why some of the member in this web site, I, as one of a members in this forum, realized that actually, it is that some of the mebers less access the post. This is a main problem that they to take precious opportunity to get involved in this program, but they do not keep on expressing their ideas throutout internet so as to take part in sharing their concepts to help solve some members' matter forecasting online.

Obviosly, all people frequently have faced several troubles in society because there exists many matter will be accidentally taken place to all individuals. Similarly, they do not have spare time for they are busy doing their work and they could not manage time to afford this forum. In addition, they eager to be involved in it, although they do not have the internet access at home or they have small amount of mony to pay for inernet services at cycafe. As consequence, they let this break to desert far away from them with remorse in their lives. Furthermore, they could not access what they want, and the topics will be stated to everyone to discuss becomes less than before. Especially, the menbers are going to have less occasion to be familiar with dealing with strange problems which all learners have encountered via their daily learning experiences.

Instead, this appears to be bad idear because, as learners, we should try to join this opportunity to exchange opinions and accept new good idears from everyone to a part of our life even if we are very busy. It is very vital to read somebody' post in order to know that how much our understanding in English language which we have been learning for along time.

Finally, I do not know my common is good or bad, I just want to share alittle bit of my concept to all of you.

Please forgive me in advance if I make accidentaly mistakes

Good luck to all of you
